Precious , I just pulled some out of the smoker . I marinate in zesty Italian for a few days , wrap in bacon , then smoke the venison for 14 hours . I have a waiting list actually . Yes it is that good ! You are on the list . I wiil be in the woods the next 11 days , hopefully I wiil get a few more .

Bob , now , now , you know its illegal to sell free range deer :smile:

Let me get this straight.... if you kill twenty deer before New Years day you get a $5,000 bonus? Sounds like some Hunter's dream.

Amazing.... up here we're allowed to take, I think, maybe three. You get more than that you're poaching. No bonuses either.

Of course on Monday two million or so people will be out looking for deer with centerfire rifles. Maybe we have fewer deer to go around for everyone up here?

I don't do deer hunts. I manage varmints. Varmints are smaller and nobody cares if you bury them where they fall.

That is correct Gene . I've been hunting in PA before . Beautiful country . But I will never hunt in PA again . There were waaaaay too many hunters in the woods . Sounded like a war zone .

Here in my county , the limit is 2 bucks a day starting Aug 15 all the way through Jan 1 . :smile:

My bread and butter are varmints also . I am beaver enemy #1 . I "eliminate" about 150-200 a year ....at $65 a piece . I also "eliminate" about 40-50 coyotes a year .... $ 40 a piece . Now ya'll why I'm scarce on YW from Aug-Jan . :biggrin:
