Yes, finally got them on! Borbet LV4 in 16x7 on Yokohama Sdrives in 205/45.. may drop my coilovers just a tad more now...OMG these ride so nice!

not from what i can tell.. but then again, this was only done a few hours ago with not much driving on it yet...



the tires themselves are the same size as my stocks were.. idk what offset my stock toyo alloys are... but these do look a bit bigger

Anyway, my guess is that they'll rub just a bit under hard cornering and bumps. My +38 offset wheels (with 205/50/15 tires) rubbed. Then again, you've got 45 series tires which is the way to go.

Didn't know a girl's taste could transfer over so well to a car. Usually doesn't, but you're obviously an exception.
The wheels match the car perfectly and the color is perfect. Black lugs will be the cherry on the top.

What color will it be, The green that is only offered JDM.. :biggrin: and no idk that these wheels will be on at that time, but i wanted to plan ahead an keep it safe.. these pix were taken with a cell phone, so colors not exactly true.. they look more bronze in these pix than they are.. they are more of a dark gray irl

heh, thanks Peter, I will definitely take this as a compliment.. I have spent over a year searching for just the right wheel to be my first. This is my first modified car and I really wanted to do it right. i consider myself quite a stylish person and can shop for pretty much anyone.. Mork, is no exception :biggrin:

And yes, i really cant wait for those black lugs, ebay need to hurry up.. and my Domo dolls too! :thumbup:

heh thanks kuro! i decided to keep them.. they seem to be stuck on there more than some of the others.. its not just something u pop on, its like on there for good!

i guess i'll have to do a photoshoot to give Joe some new pix so he can update the sig for me.. im so not computer savvy enough to do something as cool as that :biggrin:


orange, Garm was actually the first one who found them.. he bought his direct from Germany before Tirerack even had them.. when he went to sell them, he took a loss on it cuz Tirerack had them for almost half the price he paid for them.. so there is one person who was on here, from san diego who had purchased them from Garm, then everyone was telling me i had to have them.. soon they grew on me.. i loved them but was afraid the vw people would shyte a brick n chuck it at me.. lol but poo on them cuz they are simply fantastic.. even though they are quite heavy weighing in at 20 lbs...

ITS TOO EFFIN COLD!!!!! im so glad i never had to learn how to dig my car out of a snow embankment or scrape ice off my windshield.. here, i just go out to my car and drive.. it may be raining, but thats it.. and it doesnt even rain much...

I think they would look great on the green. Maybe get some better pictures, but yeah like you were saying the camera phone is never flattering.

winter? oh no no no no no! too nice to ruin with all that crap.. luckily california has no winter, so these will be on 365.. i may eventually go back to my stock alloys, just because they are so rare.. but i will powder coat em darker, more like this color, cuz this color is sexy!
