I don't have anything power on my 08 LB I want to change the doors to electric locks but I don't want a switch I just want a key fob unlock the doors. Now since I don't have electric door locks how do I do this If I buy a after market kit will it come with everything I need to make the door locks electric and to work with a key fob. Also what is a good brand, I don't want to spend a lot of cash to do this.

all keyless entry systems you buy are for powered door lock no keyless entry comes with the actuators as they are designed for cars with powered door locks. what you would need to get is the keyless entry and 2 door lock actuators to add the powered lock portion. and wont add any switchs youll get two key fobs in my opinion

well the actuators they sell them at radioshack.com only online tho but there like $10ea and come with the instructions the keyless idk if directed electronics would just sell it but its listed on there site for 119.99 but if the do sell it then it cheap and easy and viper products are like the best out there. to do the door lock actuators try look on www.the12volt.com they normally have alot of helpful stuff like wire diagrams for the car and how tos its actually pretty cake to install door locks cant mess it up if you follow the instructions i can explain how to but it wouldnt make sense unless i took pictures of the process unfortunetly tho dont have any appoinments i can do that sorry

Make sure you get three - You really want the hatch to unlock as well. If you can find a set of actuators from a junk yard car life would be easier. The aftermarket ones work fine, but sometimes figuring out a good way to mount them can be tricky.

Yes.
The Part Numbers for the OEM Toyota parts are:
Lock Assembly, Front Door W/Motor, RH: 69030-52470
Lock Assembly, Front Door W/Motor, LH: 69040-47060
These replace the standard lock assembly
Actuator Assembly, Back Door Lock: 69150-52070
Mounting Bolts: 91511-B0614 (2 required)
This is an addition to the rear lock assembly

This is the kit you want to buy. It has everything you need and doesn't have extra stuff you don't need. I installed this kit(the 4-door kit) in my 07 Sedan. It was very easy to install and it works great. You could probably install the 2-door kit in 2-3 hours.

i'm guessing you had power locks, but no keyless entry?

No, thats why that link is for a power lock kit with keyless entry. I posted the 2 door version because he has the LB. And I said I bought the 4 dr version.

What do I need to buy if I have the Door actuators already but with rods only?
Do I need a cable style adapter?
And is the rear hatch cable style as well?
The DIY for the rear hatch lock shows a rod style going into it.

You will need 2 of these for the door locks:

I think the hatch is more of a universal type system. Something like this:
