Custom Plate message

Since the Yaris is still new I thought it would be usefull to try to come up with some unique plate messages before they all get used by everyone. I have a feeling there will be many of these cars on the road in a year or so.

if i get yaris, i probably get blue. i definitely will get personal plate. my plate would read "AOUSAGI" which means Blue Rabbit in Japanese. hehe. i got some yaris bags at E3 that have pictures of Rabbits so i got idea from there. it probably would work better on VW Rabbit (but i do not like those and those not japanese car). or i just get "USAGI" if it not taken in CA.

Yeah, if I wasnt able to get "MORDSITH," then I would have gone with "JEMHADAR"

For some reason I didnt wanna go w/ my net nickname/alias, wanted to get the "MORDSITH" plates which held significance for my car itself, as its what I named her (Cara) after.

Maybe if just "JEM" had been available, I would have gotten that. Its short and sweet, just like "YARIS" is. And a good many of my friends just call me "Jem" in person too, as often as my real name.

Plus, I think MORDSITH looks looks sweet and cool for a licence plate! Cant wait till it arrives...

in Ontario, you call MTO (DMV for ppl south of the border), ask them if your choice of combination is available. (if you're lucky, they'll ask u to explain the meaning behind it....cannot be offensive). next would be providing ur credit card number and address.....u'll get ur plate 6 weeks later. then u can go to MTO and switch ur plate....simple, EH?

I would think it's more or less the same in the States.

I'm bedating if I want a custom plate on the Yaris myself. Just switched car insurances and would like to see the S13 NY plates back on the 240. Maybe I'll just do something similar with the chassis code.

Only thing holdng me back is the reregistration fee. Custom plastes bump the fee up by $50. Normally its around $40 for the reregistration but comes to $90 with custom plates.

This is NY btw.

^^ Yeah You just go to the MTO website and order them that way! Its what I did. No lines baby

And it tells you if the choice you want is taken or not, or if it's banned (for being offensive or whatever).

Just do it online if ur in ontario, so much easier. ONLINE FTW.

My buddy (elvishgibberish) says it would only cost him about $50-100 in the States. He lives in North Carolina. But yeah, he'd have to pay a YEARLY fucking fee, like 40$ or something.

I was thinking of putting a counter on my license plate frame as well.
