View Full Version : Stupid Front bumper question (sedan)

I just picked up my sedan yesterday, I was noticing on the front bumper that there two little "knobs" at the bottom, and just above them (but a bit closer together) a couple of "dimples." I assume that these are for the front license plate holder, but I was just curious as to whether having all four of these is normal. Thanks!

Yes it is normal. My Sedan is the same.

Do you guys' sedans have fog lights? If not, are they pre-wired for fog lights?

No fog lights on my sedan, I dont know about the pre-wire. I doubt it. Most kits I have seen come with wireing.

Oh I see. If they come pre-wired, all we need to do is popping in the lights, connect the harness, and change the light-control stalk by the steering wheel.

the ones I have seen don't come with the stalk by the steering wheel though.

No fog lights on my sedan, I dont know about the pre-wire. I doubt it. Most kits I have seen come with wireing.

Unfortunatly, no Yaris comes "Pre-Wired" for factory fog lights.

If you type in, "Yaris Fog Lights" over on eBay, they have an aftermarket set for the Liftback and Sedans already. Price was $109 + $19 shipping. Includes the fog lights, bulbs, wiring, switch, relay, instructions, and the direct fit fog light housings that replace your current "blanks" in the bumper. :smile:

people need to read/search more... There is a SEPERATE AUCTION for the Yaris SEDAN fog kit. :help:

I looked for that also however didn't see one for the price you were mentioning....only saw a sedan one for 79.99 and that was for Xenon blue FLs. There was a total of around 8 listings with the search cryteria "Yaris Fog Lights" there Homer.:wink:

No those BlingLight ones are junk.. these were direct replacements like i posted the other night for the Liftback.

There was 4 sets of each the other night (Sedan/Liftback) from the same seller, but now (right now!) I see a new seller with a Sedan set. :biggrin:

That and I am checking out the cathodes on that oznium site....they have mixed reviews....one guy even said that a kit lit his carpet on fire:evil: Not so good I think.

I don't care that much for the aftermarket ones. They don't turn on and off automatically with the headlight like the OEM ones (you forgot to turn them off, you have no battery left to go home). Leave alone their reliablity....

You could alwasys wire them into the Ignition ON position.
