I am no expert but I would think it'd be best to tighten the nut while unloaded, as I'm assuming was the case at the factory. If you really want to, you could jack it up, loosen the nut and retighten it.

I reckon it should be tightened loaded..... but not too tight as it will wear the rubber bush prematurely.

If both front wheels are at the same height from the guard (ie. fully jacked up off the ground, or sitting on level ground), then there is no load on a sway bar, or it's links so it won't matter either way :thumbsup:.

It is actually loaded when you jack the car up from that corner. It is unloaded with both front tires on the ground, or both front wheels in the air.

It is fine to tighten that endlink bolt to spec loaded or unloaded.

Don't worry about it.
