Ik ben Andries en rijd in een Yaris 1.8 16v DUAL VVT-I TS van 2008.

Heb ik geprobeerd. Het klinkt misschien dom, maar als ik mijn foto's (op juiste grootte) geselecteerd heb en op edit klik, komen ze er niet bij:frown:

Vreemd, ik converteer ze meestal naar 800x600 en dan pakt hij ze wel. (enne, zijn je foto's wel JPG anders doet ie het ook niet)

Inderdaad als het bestand te groot is dat doet hij het niet. Misschien moet je ze toch nog iets kleiner proberen te maken.

Ik heb hier al gelezen dat ze de connector moeten vervangen als ze andere achterlichten steken, maar dat zijn dan USDM-yarissen en JDM-lampen en misschien hebben die 2 ook al andere connectors dan EU-yarissen :iono:

Ik ben van plan om de TS lichten te installeren en 1 van de achteruitlampen vervangen door een rode lamp die dan als mistlicht zou dienen. Maar dat zijn allemaal nog maar vage plannen.

Dat deed ik ook met mijn vorige auto (Saxo VTS) maar met de Yaris denk ik toch niet.

Volgend jaar koop ik daar denk ik een oudje voor (b.v. Citroën AX, lekker licht dus ook snel)

Ik heb een knalrode 5d. Yaris XP9 'by Sparco' (bj 04/2008) met de 90pk sterke 1.4 D4D dieselmotor.

Nee, jammer genoeg niet. Dat vond ik ook ontbreken in deze uitvoering, maar ja... niets aan te doen. Misschien dat er op termijn nog Sparco zetels inkomen vooraan, maar aangezien ik dagelijks 90km doe met de wagen, is enig comfort wel welkom.

Zo, vanmiddag een NST Short Shift Kit gemonteerd.

Onvoorstelbaar wat zo'n simpel ding kan veranderen aan een auto.

De schakeslag is zeker 50% korter en veel directer.

Het rijdt fantastisch. Ik kan dit iedereen aanbevelen.

Ja, helemaal met je eens. Ik houd ook niet van dat vierkantige.
En in de TS een 6 bak! Ik denk dat dat weinig toegevoegde waarde heeft. De eerste 4 versnellingen zijn al "close ratio" dus de 5 wordt dat in de nieuwe ook.
Dat houdt alleen maar in dat hij in 5 wat sneller doortrekt door de hogere toeren. Bij ons heb je daar dus niets aan want dan rijd je al ver boven max toegestane snelheden en het zal het brandstofverbruik ook niet ten goede komen.

Maar, smaken verschillen. En dat is maar goed ook want anders had iedereen dezelfde Yaris.

Waar heb je de spullen nu besteld?

En een veerpootbrug helpt. Bij die van mij zie je bij de steunen de lak er al af springen dat wil zeggen dat hij op die punten veel krachten opvangt.

NST SSK zit op de versnellingsbak, is dus niet alleen voor de benzine.
kijk hier ff op het forum naar de DIY pics (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=8948&d=1224522738) om te kijken of het er bij jouw hetzelfde uitziet. als dat zo is zou je hem zo moeten kunnen monteren. je schakelslag wordt dan heel kort en direct.

Dat is niet veel. heeft hij de transportkosten en/of invoerrechten al wel meegerekend?

Heb namelijk laasts ergens gehoord dat iemand een swaybar wilde hebben dat ze bij JDM een volopige prijsopgave hadden gedaan van 350 (of was jij dat?)

Regarding the tail lights and the chiptuning, can you give me more information about these two items? Where have you bought those tail lights? I assume they are 'plug and play'? And where did you go for the chip tuning?

Well for the tail light search on e-bay (here it is the seller http://stores.ebay.com/City-Lights-Inc but you can find others).

They are not plug and play and you must make some modifications because this tail light come from Asian and they don't have same connection as us... (If you need help tell me, I can explain you it's very easy...!)

For the chip tuning here it is http://www.ptronic.be/ I now, it's cheap but now with my 117HP (+25% torque) it's very cool and more pleasant :w00t:

You want to change for "40mm lowering" be carreful in Belgium you cannot exceed 30mm for lowering springs... If you want more, you must take adjustable suspension...!

Hey mensen, leuk te zien dat er hier redelijk wat forum activiteit is. Dat kan ik van de andere aangemaakte forums niet zeggen. Laten we zo doorgaan.

Ik heb weer een speeltje voor de TS besteld. Een armsteun. Partnummer was bij dealer wel bekent maar ze konden hem niet bestellen. Dus zelf maar gedaan in de USA. Zal wel begin januari zijn voordat hij er is zo met al die feestdagen.
Ook zit er een K&N 57i CAI aan te komen. Moet nog ff tot januari wachten. Dan spreek ik mijn "tussenpersoon" en heb ik hem waarschijlijk voor weinig euros.

I tried chrome, firefox and explorer. The map isn't working on any of them. It worked when I added myself, but then it became unavailable.

You want to change for "40mm lowering" be carreful in Belgium you cannot exceed 30mm for lowering springs... If you want more, you must take adjustable suspension...!

Nico, just 1 small question: why is lowering of -40mm a problem? I know that if you go lower than 40mm, you need adapted shocks. A coilover kit is always the best way to lower a car, but here in Belgium, you have the choice between KW and H&R (because of the paperwork we need for GOCA). Mine is also already lowered (H&R) but only with springs because of what you say, coilover kits are expensive.

I bought mine for 200€, I could also buy V-maxx for about 130€, it goes a little lower and also with papers. But I chose H&R just because I think it's better quality.

Nico, just 1 small question: why is lowering of -40mm a problem?

I think but i'am not really sure in Belgium (GOCA) you cannot exceed -30mm with only lowering spring and also the car should not exceed 9cm compared to the ground...!

GOCA doesn't say anything about the springs you use. The only rule they have / use, is that the car may not be lower than 9cm from the ground (bodykits not included), with the driver in the car. Otherwise, it is 11cm without the driver. So, I think that 40mm shouldn't be any problem.

Only with deep gutters, sometimes I scrape a bit with that plastic frontlip. But I think that can happen even if it's not lowered.
Most people I had in my car was 3 (including me) and I didn't have any problems. Although I take speedbumps a bit slower then (after all, that's what they're for :))

That 1.2 has a turbo! so 101 Hp out of a 1.3 without turbo is amazing i think!

Als ik bv. van een parking afrijd waar een voetpad langs loopt en die stoeprand is iets te hoog en er is dan nog een goot die nog iets lager ligt, dan raak ik wel geregeld de grond. Of ik moest er schuin kunnen afrijden, dan lukt het wel nog.

Sommige verkeersdrempels neem ik aan nog geen 20 km/u (omdat ze dan toch wel overdreven hoog en kort zijn)

If you look at the back, there are 4 lights, so I think bottom is normal light, top is brake, below is the reverse and could those 2 red strips be the turn signals? But shouldn't that be orange?

Thanks for the link! The shop where I bought my springs is also an autostyle-dealer, so I can get them there. Those on the site are the chrome version, but I'm sure they will also have the black ones.
The black ones will match my black headlights.

It's a good thing I can get them here local, no more problems with the customs.

Ik ben bezig met een armsteun . Moet alleen ff kijken met betalen, heb wel Paypal maar de verkopende partij via CreditCard met Paypal . Ik heb geen CreditCard dus zit te wachten op antwoord terug van hem.

Je hebt toch niet per se een creditcard nodig met paypal? Je kan toch een overschrijving doen naar je paypal-account.

Ik heb een TTE achterspoiler gekocht, deze is van de week door een vriend gespoten. Binnen nu en een paar dagen wordt hij gemonteerd foto,s volgen dan.

Hier een bijna Yaris owner uit Nederland (Roosendaal). Deze maand wordt de Yaris afgeleverd. Een Executive in Ash Grey :)

Heb al een spoiler in bestelling staan. Vond €400,- te veel voor een plank bij de dealer.
Heb ook en een cruise contol pook onderweg. Met een beetje geluk krijg ik die wel aan de praat. Ik vind het belachelijk dat dat géén fabrieks optie is.
Lang leve Ebay ;)

NST SSK zit op de versnellingsbak, is dus niet alleen voor de benzine.
kijk hier ff op het forum naar de DIY pics (http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=8948&d=1224522738) om te kijken of het er bij jouw hetzelfde uitziet. als dat zo is zou je hem zo moeten kunnen monteren. je schakelslag wordt dan heel kort en direct.
Andries, hoe ben je aan de short shifter gekomen en hoeveel heb je ervoor betaald? ik zou er ook graag een monteren, op de site van nst kost hij 120 USD incl. verzenden naar NL

Vanmorgen heb ik mijn H4 lampen vernieuwd, heb er nu Philips Vision Plus h4 lampen in zitten die zouden meer lichtopbrengst moeten leveren:thumbsup: Aangezien ik donderdagnacht 19-08-2010 naar TRIER vertrek om de WRC Deutschland rally te gaan kijken ben ik benieuwd wat deze lampen doen :thumbup:
