ok, most of you know I'm a Technical Writer, however, my boss just asked me for website graphics...50x50 jpeg format...

These are for a business. Does anyone know of links to good free site with what I might be looking for? I am *not* a computer person, but I know how to resize and adjust...

can anyone help me? I know..this is probably a REALLY stupid question...but bear with me.

Thanks...

50 x 50 is tiny!!! http://www.entity.cc/central/trek-prev.gif unless he is talking about a 50K jpeg which would be a larger picture......

Bob..while those are FABULOUS....

yes, these are for buttons, that's why they're small. I need something like XP-based graphics buttons or something....sheesh..this man is trying to KILL me. I'm a WRITER for Pete's sake.

That's why when I go someplace new I make sure I am not the one wearing the red shirt!

Well if you give us a subject we could probably find a graphic to borrow off the net!

See, if this man I call my boss KNEW what he wanted, this might be easier but I am doomed to fail, I swear, he's setting me up.

I just need general XP-based icons..graphics..whatever...just some that I can fit to these 5 catagories, which, if I did list them, would make sense to nobody...

oy....is it 4:30 yet?

Dirty Harry, classic tough guy.

My dad's a Man With No Name fan (Good Bad and the Ugly, For a Few Dollars More, etc.)

Man, Clint Eastwood used to be a badass back in his day.

I'm more of a John McClane fan. Maybe it's the generational gap lol.

That would be my fault. Let me clear this up.

Ahem! Bob never has, nor will he ever, endorse the Klingon or Romulan party. They're just a bit too liberal

Hey Bob... another question. Is the max dpi that can be displayed on screen 72 dpi or can computers display print quality 300 or 600 dpi images ? If 72 dpi is the limit, am I to understand that if I post a 300 dpi pic it will become over 4 times the original size ?

Thanks.....

You can also do a Google advanced image search for the term "icon":
http://images.google.com/images?as_q=icon&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&imgtype=&imgsz=icon&as_filetype=&imgc=&as_sitesearch=&safe=active&as_st=y
