Mounting depth on head units

What is the maximum longest head unit you could cram in the liftback dash?

I'm trying to figure out if I can mount a CB radio in the dash. The ones I am looking at range from 8 3/8" - 9 1/4" long + about 1/2" for the antenna connection. This isn't looking to good.

a average radio is about 7 1/2 i am pretty sure. i would guess u got bout a 1 inch clearance behind that, i never measured but i would say about 8 inches is the max you would have.

its fairly easy to take out the radio, just pull it apart and take some measurements. it all just clips apart and then 4 bolts. thats it.
