I bought them not realizing they were for the hatchback. I drive a sedan.

No local pickup, just straight ebay regular mail.

If you used paypal, you can always get your money back through them. And if you won his ebay auction, then negative feedback is always fun. Especially since sellers can't leave negative feedback for buyers anymore.

i asked him to lower the shipping cost on the item since he didnt want to do local pick up

so he got mad about that

then i told him if he shipped it fast and it was close to 9.99 then there would be no reason to leave him negative feedback

so its been a week and i sent him an email yesterday and he never responded. So i sent him one today and he said

"You didn't really expect me to send you this item after you threatened negative feedback for a shipping charge that was listed prior to your bidding did you? Shipping materials cost money as does shipping. If you know a place that will package and ship you an item for less than $10, please let me know and I'll lower the shipping price."

Well he did tell you no local pickup. Could mean he has no time to coordinate a pickup or just plain doesn't want to, which is his choice.

However, him telling you to find a place with lower shipping costs (even Amazon.com ships things pretty quick with less than 5 dollar shipping cost) and then deliberately dragging his ass on shipping the item out promptly merits a negative feedback imo.

If you went through paypal, get your money back through them and report him on eBay. He'll have to show proof (such as a post office receipt) that he actually shipped the item to you since you paid. If you paid and he's not shipping the item, he has committed fraud. He can't deprive you of an item you paid for without a full refund just because he doesn't like you.

well the local pick up wasnt the issue. i paid him expecting promp shipment. buy he never refunded my money and just kept it and never sent it is what makes me mad. i asked for a refund by tonight or just refund me 10 bucks and ill get it tomorrow. we will see if he emails me back. ill keep you posted.

That may not have been a smart move, considering the first buyer never got his! I think the mods need to intervene here as unless the OP comes up and explains his side of the situation, we may have a scammer on this forum!

yea im leaving a negitive now for him and changing the dispute to a claim

hes just looking to take peoples money at this point

i think hes mad becasue i offered to buy these from him a while ago at the price of 40.00 which he wanted way more at the time. So i won the auction for 30.00 and asked him if he could lower the shipping price. He said no, so i said well as long as it cost 10 bucks to ship to me and you ship it out fast then there is no reason to leave negative feedback. Well a week has passed and he just kept the money, offered it to somebody else and never emailed me back.

i think he was mad he didnt get his outrageous asking price and he must be hard up for money or something.

but good luck getting your item. You will probably be in the same boat as me soon.

"Item has been shipped USPS as I never received a reply from eBay regarding my complaint about being threatened negative feedback unless I lowered the price. Since I have received negative feedback anyway, I shipped the item. I have several of these badges which is my explanation for the 2nd chance offers. I'd appreciate the removal of his negative feedback as he is the one who violated eBay policy with his extortion attempt. Now that the item has been shipped I'd appreciate the reinstatement of this $ to my account. Otherwise I am out shipping/listing costs as well as the cost of the item and the stress of having dealt with this nightmare bidder who also contacted me through yarisworld.com requesting I sell these parts outside eBay to save costs. At the very least an explanation from eBay in response to my 2 prior complaints would be appreciated. some some reason all my friends went into law enforcement and if you knew these guys back in the day you would think they would have never made it past the interview process.

but they got me the info i needed on him address, phone number other crap

its scary how much info they can get he knew my address what cars i drove with plate numbers

but if that doesnt work since he said he shipped it regular mail, i could file for mail fraud with the info

and another thing w/ this guy, Media Mail is the cheapest shipping w/ USPS, and is meant only for "Media" ie cds, dvds, books etc.

I used to sell adult dvds on a website, I could send like 6 or 7 dvds for only about $3 tops!
