johnnyfive - Close up.. see below.. not sure if the image quality is going to be crappy but I'm too lazy to go downstairs to take more pics.. I did find something off the net but it's not colored properly.. The model is BSA 354

ChinoCharles - Thx!

Ran Kizama - The sideskirts came stock w/ the RS model

fnkngrv - It's been lowered with the Toyota lowering springs, and the bill came to $1100 all in..

But he's from California... so what he's asking is where did he get them.

I am VERY interested to know as well.

Imported them from Canada? Found someone selling off their RS Yaris?

Sorry folks.. I messed up my profile from DAY 1.. the CA should be CAN.. sorry for the confusion!

I was about to say group buy on Canadian RS side skirts, and then I realized that I would have to paint them because they don't have them with USDM colors. I hate my life.

Still though, for the rest of you, someone set that up. Those look nice.

What % of tint do you have?

For once, I actually like dark wheels on a white car.

Nice job rice, rice job.

riceboy,

I assume your wheel is 17x7, 4x100, 40 mm offset as per the specs correct?

Have you encountered any rubbing or issues with the wheels and tires you selected?

Reason I ask is that I am close to purchasing some 17x7 with 40mm offset and am wondering if spacers or any modification is required.

riceboy

The tint is 35% all around, and the wheels are 17X7/4x100/40mm, no rubbing issues whatsoever... When I was talking to my wheel guy, he advised that a max of 8 inch width could be installed.. 7.5 with no rubbing... dunno if he was just blowing smoke.. but if you want wider.. it might be available..

ChinoCharles

Anyone else know anything about a max wheel width? What if you have the TRD springs?

riceboy
07-29-2006, 09:14 PM
I don't believe the trd springs affect the max width you can use for wheels...

I don't believe the trd springs affect the max width you can use for wheels...

It does if your dropped over 2", which I dont believe the TRD's do anyway.

Naw its 1.75" I believe, but don't quote me on that. If I wasn't so lazy I'd find out just for the sake of this post, but guess what... mwahaha.

It doesn't matter anyway, I'm too poor for any of this crap right now.

i have 17inch x 7 with 205/40 tire.. and there is too much space :p but with 7 in mag it because harder to drive ... cant think about 7.5

how heavy are your rims?? do 17''s make a big diff off the line?

riceboy
08-28-2006, 06:52 PM
Thx Robb... the rims weight?? I'm not sure.. has it made a big diff.. not really.. It's slower, but the car was slow to begin with... Did it bog it right down, and make it noticeably slower? absolutely not.. with this car you can get the lightweight wheels, but I think that it all comes down to personal preference.. hence the variance in wheel sizes from 14" to 20" depending on the owner.
