For sale is a Used AFE drop-in filter and stock airbox with cutouts for sale.

AFE filter is the Pro Dry-S and is washable and reuseable. Saves you money in the long run. No need to keep replacing filters. Doesn't require oil or cleaning kit so it saves you even more money then a Oiled-type filter.

Used for about 1000 miles so looks brand new. Model number is 31-10150.

Combine this with an opened up stock airbox and increase airflow even more. Improves midrange power. Don't hack up your stock airbox, buy mine!

I am selling the combo for $55 OBO shipped. SoCal local pickup will be $40 for the combo. Combo will include a used stock air filter that's still clean.

"SoCal" is a pretty big place... Where are you at?
And why are you selling it after having gone thru all the trouble to buy/modify it?

Thanks for the free publicity, DOMOKUN loves extra air!

Under location, I am located in 626 area code of SoCal. If you don't know where that is the more specifically zip code 91780, Temple City.

I am selling it because I bought a Simota CAI back when it was first available so I have no use for this. I also have an unmodified stock airbox and air filter so I have stock parts to go back to in case I sell the car or smog. So I really really have no use for this.

Its good for those that want a stock look but want a slight increase in midrange performance. You also save money because you don't have to keep buying replacement air filters. Just wash, dry, and reuse.

ozmdd, PM sent.

I would like to sell it as a combo, but if theres no interest, I will separate.

You should bring this with you to the meet this Friday at Speedzone or the one on Saturday in San Diego (if you're going that is?). I may pick it up ;)

What's the warranty info on this dry filter? I can't find any warranty info one dry filters on the afe website.. the only filters listed are the oiled ones.. How often does it need to be cleaned? How were the gains/sound?

There is no set interval to when it needs to be cleaned cause it really all depends on driving conditions like the roads you drive on, etc. I would just check it every oil change and if its dirty, clean it. Since it doesn't require a cleaning kit, clean it as often as you like.

Combined with the hacked airbox, there is a slight increase in midrange power. Sound under load is louder but a bit quieter then a CAI intake. I don't know how this drop-in filter performs with a regular intake box but its probably not much.
