I need to connect a 4 gauge power wire to my battery. I measured the positive battery terminal in my Yaris and it is around 3/4" in diameter. Where can I get a ring connector similar to this:

that will fit a 4 gauge wire and has a ring w/ an internal diameter of at least 3/4"? I've checked RadioShack and Fry's Electronics, but neither had rings big enough.

Shipping for one little item would be prohibitive.

I've already checked Parts Express. I don't see a ring connector there that takes 4-gauge wires and has a ring that's 3/4" in diameter.

You might want to try a local electrician supply store. Sounds like you want a power
connector. Here is one place to search for sizing and style:

One distributor might be:
http://www.newark.com
or try:
http://www.digikey.com
but you might have to buy in bulk, so best to try the local supplier. You can also try
an auto parts store like NAPA.
Why not just connect to the bolt that holds the positive cable to the battery post?
I am assuming this is for some audio power amp or something? :iono:

Just had another thought. Since you live in Las Vegas, why not try the
Amateur Electronics Supply store there? It could be that some ham radio guys
have installed a power cable of that size.

Just a thought.
Let us know if you do find the answer.

carquest, or any auto parts store can usually get a hold of them... if they don't have them in stock... Big trucks sometimes use big connections.
Carquest over here carries up to 4/0 (like 1/0 but bigger).
I was able to find a 2/0 to connect my 2/0awg cable.
