just wondering if the yaris and XB have the same mounts
http://www.dezod.com/pd-energy.cfm
and if it would be a worthwhile mod...

if they fit then they are worth it. they really do help put the power to the ground better plus they conserve the life of your mounts. BUT they do add some noticeable vibrations. if you do want these and the xb ones wont fit you can always putt yours off and full them with polyurethane yourself. ive dont that, take a little bit of time but its maybe $6 haha

That is an understatement! You should sit/ride in jkuchta's car, it's wild -- he has the C-One center motor mount.
I believe NST may be working on one for us.

i know they make a noticeable difference on my friends car(93 Nissan Sentra SE-R), even the engine tone when starting the car sounded different, we were very surprised...but i think the vibration is unbearable

Have you tried this? If this is the case, I will see what it will take to get some made? If someone wants to start an interest thread in our vendor section that would be great. I will contact a couple companies and see what it will take.

they do make the car shake a lot,but you get used to it and the power really does transfer a lot better to the ground.

I'd have to say that after getting used to the "buzz" and getting used to driving the car at or above 1650 rpm (to kill the worst of the vibration), I can't even fathom running without the C-one link. Power transfer is much better, and shifting is much improved under load. NST...make this thing quick!

Damn, they beat me too it.
NST are currently working on some solid motor mounts. Different from the Energy are. I'm interested in seeing the differences in terms of vibrations between the two.

Ahhh, another case of serious reverse engineering.
I can imagine how bad the vibration will be. Recently sat on Mojoyaris' car and without him telling me; knew he was running on "modified" engine mounts the moment I started his engine.
Certainly more vibration and lots of road noise will be transmitted once the car is in motion.
Remember whatever modifications you make, there will be something you will be giving up in return. Better handling means giving up a bit of ride comfort.
Well, I realized different strokes for different folks. :burnrubber:
Happy modding and enjpy your ride.
