how do i find the FCC ID for keyless entry?

i recently lost my remote key while at the beach, and i was wondering how i might find the FCC ID without the key. also, would it be possible to get a new key without a matching FCC ID and reprogram the keyless system?

You could probably look on the keyless box. On the Sedan it is located on the drivers side rear...near the C pilar. Dont know about the LB.

you should be able to go to toyota and they could just reprogram a new one the system is made to be able to accept new ones i had a customer lose theres and i just sent them to toyota and they took care of it you dont need the fcc id

If it is the true Toyota factory keyless, then you can get a replacement key from you dealership by just giving them the VIN for the car.

The FCC IDs are listed in the Yaris owners manual (or on the receiver as mentioned above). The key and receiver have different FCC ID's, so looking at the receiver doesn't give you the FCC ID of the key. The manual lists both.
