Here's another look at the crazy cool CNG-powered Yaris 5-door at the SEMA show. The video shows the power clamshell door in action, as well as the shaved suicides (release buttons hidden under the mirrors), and CNG setup in the hatch and under the hood.

I dugg the bodywork, but the compressed natural gas conversion was the slickest part of the ride, IMHO.

It would be great to see CNG conversions take off as a trend ... CNG burns much cleaner than gasoline (less pollution) and can save a significant amount on fueling costs, depending on geographic location. In some parts of the country, CNG is a fraction of the cost of gasoline.

Not sure who did the CNG conversion ... need to dig a bit ...
