So if you have read my other posts i been having a lot of noise with my springs. Looking at other pictures of other members i think mine may be upside down. Do the tightly coiled springs supose to be facing up or facing down?

lol i did the same thing you talkng about the back ones right? The ones that are close together are suppose to be up to the chassi(sp) but it shouldnt make a diff as long as its the same diameter as top and bottom. Mine is upside down too ;) no problems

There actually is a difference in the ride with the springs upside down.
There was a pretty long thread about this before the hack.

The flat side of the spring goes to the top, but there is no difference in ride if the rears are flipped. Springs are springs.

The ride height could be slightly changed if they are flipped or clocked differently, but they do not magicly change spring rate if upside down.

Mine are in right, but no it wouldn't bother me.

The fronts would be a big problem if flipped however.

the one thing that might make a difference is if the end of the coil is not facing the same way as the other, i.e both facing < <.

Yes, if they are clocked wrong, it could affect ride height, depending on how much the car is lowered, and how you have your spring isolators configured.

Hmm looks like mine are installed right =)

One thing i noticed though is they are not vertically strait it looks like. Kinda like a half moon bend in them. But i am sure i had them installed facing together the same way as the oem ones when i took them out. ANd put the spring insolators on the same way.

Is this normal orsomething i should be concerned about.

As long as they are on the spring perches.. there is nothing to worry about.
