My friend found these laying on the right side of the driver's side. Anyone know what they are from (if they're even from the car)? Thanks!

I think those are to hold your flux capacitor in place?

ah come on, let's not scare away the newcomer

truthfully, I have no idea, they do not look at all like the kinds of bolts and screws used in this car.

Did you have any stereo or electronics installed recently? Looks like possible grounding hardware from a radio install kit.

I agree. That top one looks like a grounding/back support bolt that my old
car radios used to have.

these are two very different screws. the first has a fine thread whereas the second has a course thread and a large head. the one with a large head is most likely for plastic (big head so it doesn't crack the plastic and course threads to grip better) or possible wood. actually, it has to be plastic because it's too short to grip wood and wood screws aren't button heads.

the first one is weird. i'm expecting an open box head or hex head but i don't see it. it's probably used to hold something heavy and with all those threads and the torque that should have gone into tightening it, it couldn't have gotten knocked lose by accident.

i don't think neither belongs to your car so no worries. almost everything in the yaris is made of plastic that snaps together.
