mixed springs a good idea?

I recently got some 15's and want to close the wheel gap as much as I can. I have nf-210's, but was thinking of putting back my tein's. I already put on the rears, but haven't had the chance to put on the fronts. It looks o.k, but I'm not to sure if it's a wise thing to do.Is this an o.k set-up, or should I change the front springs? Please let me know.

There's nothing technically wrong with mixing pairs of springs. Race cars experiment all the time with different combinations of spring rates.

If the drivability is fine for you, then that's not an issue.

But isn't the gap larger in the front now?

At first, the gap was noticeable and looked pretty funky. But for some reason, it went down a little and is not as big as it was before. Maybe I'm just imaging things, but is seems to be ok. Do I now have to get alignment done, or can I just leave it the way it is?

Should be okay in the short term. I wouldn't suggest making this a permanent setup. Also, your headlights will be blinding oncoming traffic with the tail dropped (nose-up).

If you didn't change the front ones, I don't think there's a need for an alignment.

I tried yesterday to change the shocks. Had a hard time and said screw it. Anyone in the L.A area able to change the front springs?
