Weird smell

I have a question for anyone who can help. When I turn on my vent from the outside I get a really sour smell from the vents, but when I turn it to recirculate the air I don't get that smell. I am sure I have some mold growing some ware but I can't find it. So I was hoping for some ideas. It has been like this since I bought the car brand new 6 months ago but has been getting worse and fast.

Do a SEARCH and look for the word DRAIN

my guess is, if it smells bad... let it blow untill it goes away. and hope it's stays away.

otherwise, you might want to get your HVAC system cleaned. I would never let my system run in recirculated air for a long period of time.

My vent air also smells kinda "funky" only on vent mode , the a/c air smells fresh and clean . Imo it smelled weird after 2 weeks of owning the car (bought brand new 3 months ago) I heard most lb's dont come with cabin filters ? Im thinking that has something to do with it .
