I considered that color when looking at it on the internet. However, when I saw one
at the dealer, it didn't grab me like I thought it would. :frown:
I guess I was expecting more of a burgundy like some of the other Toyota
vehicles in the showroom.
So, I went with my original choice of Meteorite Metallic. :thumbup:

That is a nice color but the brochure depicts the color Carmine Red as more Red. This looks like a Dusty Rose to me as see on the 1992 Chrysler New Yorker. Cannot go wrong with the Metallic paint. Love your 09 Yaris....More pics please!! Wow!! You have a very large and well lit garage. Looks to be a $700K home where I am from.

Ah........the old 308. Great car. I, myself, have always wanted a 288 GTO and they were almost affordable a while back. They are now going for outrageously huge money. Like the color on the Yaris....It would look fantastic with some bronze colored wheels.

Hello I'm Astrogirl I just got my 09 Carmine red metallic 3dr lift today. Super happy it's an awesome color. My first mod to my car is going to be a yarisworld.com decal hopefully in purple or some color to match my car. My fiance is Astroman he is a moderator on here and he makes them. I will soon be posting pics up of my car. I will be tinting my windows and adding some stripes to the car.

I saw a carmine red a couple of weeks ago and loved it in person even more than in pictures. This really would have been on my short list of colors if it existed with the '07 models!

I'm so glad there are pictures here, my dealership did not have any in this color for me to preview, and I don't trust "official" images. :)

My Carmine Red, picks up scratches like no tomorrow and hard to keep clean since I live way far back on a dirt road. Had it 11 months now. At least it has been in my name 11 months. Gave one of my smarts to my daughter in trade back in November since the wife liked the Yaris better - tilting wheel was the selling point. 16,500 miles on it now. Need to get an armrest next, just put cruise on today - need to add power windows and locks still. :thumbup:
