Well after having the NF's on for about a month....i dont like them at all. Now maybe it is because of my tire and offset (215/45/17 +38) but I rub all the time. Right when I put them on automatic rubbing on the front left, even going like 30 on an on ramp, and dont even get me started on dips on the freeway. And last night i finally had some more peeps in my car and i was rubbing like crazy in the back. I can tell that they do handle better and the stance is way nice, but if you got big wheels then these are not for you.

So besides the rubbing factor i like them but that is a HUGE FACTOR......i really wish i would have saved and got coilovers

I'm no tire expert like Kimona, but I think you probably want to go with 205's.
I'm running df210's with 205/50/15 and rarely rub. Only on really big dips.

yeah thats probably what i should have went with. But i wanted the 215 just in case of any curbs that would want to attack my wheels =p

Low offset wheels + tires too tall + tires too wide = rubbing ... A 205/40/17 (1/2 inch short) works well for drop springs. A 205/45/17 is 1/2 inch tall. A 215/40/17 is factory diameter, but a bit wide. Your 215/45/17's are way too tall and too wide.

On a positive note, the drop on your car looks perfect...

Screw the coilovers! You need to get some better shocks, especially with your wheel/tire setup. I was running tein s-techs with stock shocks, and rubbed like a mofo. I then got some tokico hp shocks, and the problem was solved. So if you are on stock shocks, you need to change them out. You can get some good ones for $300, or you can "save" your money to spend on $1000 coilovers. :iono:

I was thinking about getting new shocks too.....and now that i know someone else had a problem like me and got new shocks maybe i will consider that route instead of spending the big bucks :w00t: thanks

Being on NF's the Tokicos should solve your problems. They did for me but I'm on 15's.

I've got NF210's with 205/40/17 +40mm offset and I have no rubbing issues unless I'm running down the highway at 80mph and I hit a big bump on the interstate and then I get a slight rub sound on the inside wells against the plastic liners.
