After starting on Thursday and taking my time I finished installing Tokico Blues and Tanabe NF210's on the Yaris. The backs for the most part were easy. I had to use the impact wrench to get the top nuts off of the shocks. The fronts were more difficult, I had to use some force to get the "brake assembly" into the shock so I could put the 2 19mm bolts in but, besides that it was straight foward.

So far I only driven on the backroads but, the car is much more stable and planted to ground a little bouncy beacause of the NF's but nonless a huge difference compared to stock. I also tried to shake the car from the outside I can barley get it to move and it doesn't sink anymore when I sit in the seat.

Before with DF210's and After Shots with NF's and Tokico's.

Looking good mate! Now for them to settle in for an even lower stance! =P

I'm thinking of following the same path (tokico + nf210)..

DON'T FORGET TO GET AN ALIGNMENT!

I say this as suspension components were removed and replaced with modified (read- different) parts

It's you...Your the guy who started this whole Tokico shocks "fiasco." Thanks to you, many of us didn't stay with our stock shocks or spend a ridiculous amount of dinero on some coilovers we probably wouldn't ever adjust. More power to you, Mane!:headbang:

Waiting to get the alignment until the springs settle. The TRD sway is in my list of my next three mods, I'm looking at RH's Header, TRD Sway, and JDM tails but I'm undecided in the order.

y didnt u keep the df's? A little more ground clearance is usefull where I live. Plus I have a good amount of audio wieghing the car down.

Very nice, I also installed NF210s last week, the best upgrade I made to improve my cars ride.

i see. i intend to do rip out the back seat and anything that adds weight, replace my 18's for light weight 15's or 16's. would you say that i would be safe using these shocks with the DF's?

Lookin' good!

I really need to get some blues for me. I'm rubbing over every bump or dip, and I tried doing a mountain run a week ago or so and got some nasty rubbing at every tight turn.

I do not look forward to changing out the shocks.

Do you have an images of it from the side view? It looks to be slightly higher in the rear end, because i thought the NF's were supposed to lower it 0.2" lower then the front (1.1/1.3)?

I think it's because I have the rear seats out of the car that makes the back the same hieght as the front.

I was wondering are the Tokico blues the same length as the OEM struts? or are they shorter (perhaps like the TRD struts)?

IDK but they seem shorter maybe the reason I had a problem installing them.

I got one of those and I'm amazed as a mofo. It feels like I'm getting power from the back now, like a awd vehicle.
