There should be a disclaimer that reads something like:

Have you searched on the topic that you are about to post on? Searching is easy, and it will increase your chances of getting a good reply.

Hopefully that will reduce the number of duplicate threads out there, and make the jobs of YW moderators a bit easier.

Well, the wording could be changed as necessary to prevent offending anyone. But I do believe that there are lots and lots of dupes out there that could be prevented if people just remembered to search every now and then.
