Small, Under 2 Minute Mod! [pics]

Decided to replace the boring slush box pedal set, with a set of OBX Pedals from SPARKS Toyota in NC. http://sparkstoyota.com/ :smile:

Remove the rubber brake pedal, squirt a little soapy water on the back of the OBX's, and persuade them into shape! You just need to make sure the backside "lips" of the OBX's are completely wrapped around the pedal base.

Simple. :smile:

This little mod took no more then 2 minutes, from box to finished.. no joke!

I like it but I still want a way to make the brake pedel smaller so the left side of my shoe doesn't hit it every time i try to brake.

I have got the razor pedals....but the accelarator doesn;t fit..it hits the side of the carpet........ what a shame.... i didn;t know if i should just fit the brake one on.???????

hey chris, these are the actual 'TRD' ones right? and how does the gas pedal one fit on? just like the others (take off the stock rubber on and put this one on?)

On the auto trans, the only rubber pad to remove is the brake pedal.

These are from Sparks Toyota, but its not a TRD part, said OBX on the box.

Either way, it was a cheap little mod, that sure beats the Walmart ricer pedals, lol. :laugh:

These are the same ones I got from Toyota as well. same brand and everything I dont think TRD makes them but they are the ones that Toyota sells (if that makes any sense) .. I will post pics of mine soon since lol I have 3 petals...

I just wanted to add.. that I have never done anything myself to my car.. and I put these on myself... it was hard and I lost most of the skin on my fingers doing the brake and clutch petals but its well worth it... but it took about 35 minutes for all 3
