Since im running an auto =( i would like to know how much it would cost me to buy an MT and if its even worth it. Are there any problems that would arise with this being a new car? Like ecu or such?
-just wondering as i would like to do this in the future, didnt have a choice of tranny at purchase and would like MT for final product-

well to give you an idea, you would need to buy a MT, as well as all the cable linkage, and the actual shifter that sits in the car. You will need to buy a clutch pedal assembly with a clutch master and slave cylinder, also you will need a clutch and flywheel. the ecu's are different so you would need a MT ecu and usually the cams have a slightly different spec, they wouldnt need to be changed, but they are different more then likely.

your best bet is finding a wrecked MT yaris so you can get all those things out of it

lol trading your yaris for one w/ a manual is honestly going to be the cheapest, easiest way to get a manual...
you think toyota is going to warranty your current yaris if you hax0r it up to put a manny tranny in?
the 1-3k you lose on trade-in are nothing compared to what youll spend making your auto a manual...

Could it be done? Yes probably
Is it worth doing? Nope it would be cheaper ( and alot easier) to trade for a M/T car.
