personally i think I'd paint the grill surround body color if I wanted to keep the chrome

and I'd use a center exhaust that flows better with the style of the rocket boosters on that rear lip

btw, i was also considering not painting it but i think it will look better painted to match the grill below it!

Yeah thats the plan , getting the whole grill painted to match the body color , powder coating the rims gold , and debating on "rs" style wing or Oem style Seibon CF wing to match the hatch .

:w00t: i think if we could get another chrome grill for the bottom one it might look a lot better just to match the top one....what kind of gold r u going to use for those wheels?...did the same thing to my wheels, "maya gold" with chrome lip...but i think i should just painted the whole thing it kinda makes the wheels look smaller than it already is!

Oh , trust me i'm chrome's least favorite fan , I despise chrome , but in person IMo this grille looks really good and makes the car look like a little lexus or something lol . But painted it flows with the car and matches the bottom grille really good . For the rims im thinking like the same gold as the bbs's on an sti. I've only had the car for 6 weeks now and I think its comming along, Thanks for the comments everyone and Btw the car will never be "done"...

I'm also not a big chrome-fan, but the more I see this chrome grill on a black yaris, the more I like it!

I'm not a chrome fan either, but it looks good and currently the front chrome is supported by the shinyness of the bars inside. The gold is SUPER HOT, though

Thanks for the comments/suggestions everyone , keep them comming ! As for the chrome grille, from what I hear from everyone is you either love the grille in chrome or hate it... I'll be picking up a small can of blacksandperal paint from ppg this weekend and painting it to match the car . Also tinting the fog light yellow with 3m film , and adding toyota window visors this week , so look for updated pictures soon .
