Well.. Anywhere you go, there are reserved parking, reserved tables, reserved washrooms, etc for specific persons...

Tables at a restaurant reserved for a special event
Bus seats reserved for handicaps, pregnant women, strollers...
Washroom for families!

Actually there are less women driving in Germany due to the superior public transit system. A reserved parking spot gives them a fighting chance!
