If you like doing stuff to your car (mods), keep the Yaris. Buying and selling cars ever year or so gets real expensive. If you buy a more expensive car, you might not have the money for new wheels or anything else.

What different car are you thinking of?

well, i like the yaris, but if i wanted it to look good....i would need to buy wheels, bodykit, tint, lowering springs. i might hold on to the yaris, but by the time i do all those, i might be better off selling it for 14k or so and getting something along the lines of a honda civic

was quoted $11,500 over the phone for our base model '08 automatic sedan that's Barcelona Red and has less than 6,000 miles :bs: . What an insult !!! We bought the car in the middle of MAY for $13,950 . That's quite a hit . The dealer quoted " since there's a $1,000 rebate that makes your car $1,000 less for trade " :barf: . So I said " Huh ? No way ! I'll take our business elsewhere ! " . These people must think we're all dumb as rocks :stupid: . Might as well bend over in the showroom and take the position :moon: . NOT SURE WE WANT TO GO THROUGH ALL THE :bs: AGAIN . Just hold onto the YARISes we have . We had our hopes up for possibly getting an '09 5 door Liftback :brokenheart: .

Any hope of getting top dollar for your car involves selling it yourself. The crooks at GO Dealerships in Colorado were offering 125% of KBB value. Sounds good, however, they charged a $1,500 maintaince/service fee on the trade ins.

Are these mods cheaper or not necessary on a Civic?
Around here Civics are quite a bit more expensive than a Yaris.

wouldn't get a bodykit for the civic, and maybe not wheels either. i'm sure i'll just keep the yaris, i'm that "never happy with what i have" person
