hey guys, i got a 2009 yaris with the stock 15" steel wheels that came with the convenience package. i believe they are these specs:

* Wheels: 5.5JJ x 15 Steel Disc

* Tires: P185/60R15 AS BSW

i also believe the stock 15" alloys that come with the S trim are the same exact size. heres a pic of the alloys im talking about:

http://z.about.com/d/cars/1/0/O/Y/to...is_s_wheel.jpg

if i just replace my existing 15" steels with those, what differences will i notice? how much do the 15" alloys weigh compared to the 15" steels? also, since they are the same size specs and everything, it shouldnt affect my odometer/speedometer readings or anything, right?

lastly, is there any place online where i can buya set of these? thanks!

I Guys , just tried to look at the link but it does not show any alloys ,
but here in New Zealand the factiry alloys , are supplied and made by Advanti Mags .
Most 15" alloys start at 6.0jj , i have The Toyota Flash , mags on my car
which are 6.5jj x 15 , nice and lite. Advanti cals them Flash as well.
all toyota did was put there emblem disc on centre cap.
Hope all this helps .

Yep you will have no problem at all ,you can use the tyres you have on the steel rims , or
you can put a new size ,upto 215x55x15
those alloys are 6.0jj x 15"

I wouldn't suggest 215's on the Yaris. For replacement tyres, run 205/55/15's max... if you're not lowered.

BTW, checkout discounttiredirect.com and tirerack.com
They have numerous wheels at great prices, and some have that OEM look.

Check the Wheels, Tires and Suspension Forum, but I think
I read that the 15" steel wheels were 16 lbs without the tires.

i also believe the stock 15" alloys that come with the S trim are the same exact size

Just a quick clarification, I'm pretty sure the 15" alloys don't necessarily come with the S trim... they are options for both the S and "non-S". My '08 sedan is not an S but I got the alloys as an option... and I have seen S's with the steels/plastic wheel covers. Anyway, hope you are able to get these wheels... they look great. I really like mine.
