So...I've been thinking about this for a minute and decided to ask YW members their experience w/ wheel spacers.... I want to get some just don't know about sizing... if you can look on ebay and let me know your opinions, I'd really appreciate it.

what offset/width wheel do you plan on running?
Is you car lowered?

I am running a 7 in wide +43 offset wheel with 25mm adapters all the way around, and 10mm hub spacers in the rear

ok........ what is the offset of the wheels, that is the most important part when looking at wheel spacers

I think its +40

not to be a dick, but that still does not tell me the offset

you really need to know the exact offset before looking in to spacers/adapters

I think its +40

if you are running a +40 offset, you do not want any type of spacer/adapter for the front, it will rub like crazy of you do

on the rear you do not want to run more than a 10-13mm (3/8-1/2 inch)

also need to know what size tire you are running.... smaller tire give you more room to play with

stock rubber from my steelies 185/65/15

stock rubber should have been 185/60R15

so you MIGHT be able to run 10mm spacers in the front and 20mm in the rear

you will need extended wheel studs to do so

IMO if you are going with spacers go with a good name brand. I'm sure if your just daily driving the car you would have no problem, but just my 2cents

I would recommend only hubcentric wheel spacers... Ichiba is a good name, but there are certainly others.

If you don't need extended lugs, then any cheap hubcentric spacer would work.
IMO, they don't have to be name brand. And BTW, those ebay ones are quite expensive. You can get them for 5-8 bucks depending on the size you need.
Good luck, and let us know.

well if you go as little as 1/4 inch (~6mm) you will need extended wheel studs.... we have very short OE studs

What if you have 15x6.5 with +38 offset? I really want to add spacers to the rear wheels.
I don't know if this helps or not, but my center bore is 73.1

you can run 10mm spacers no problem, or possibly 15mm spacers in the rear since you have a thinner wheels.... also depends upon what size tire

stick with 10mm

hub spacers would be ideal for what you are looking for, instead of wheel spacers
