I've had my flatscreen box tv for 8 yrs now and I think it's time for me to change it...I'm on hunt for a great quality LCD!

I'm lookin at the one below and any reasonable suggestions would be appreciated!

Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color (http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LN52A650-52-Inch-1080p-120Hz/dp/B001413DF8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1228978796&sr=1-3#)

My gf's family has the 60's inch version of that tv. Sweet tv, but if you're watching up close, you'll see the pixels.

$1800 isnt bad for this + free shipping, not a fan of LCD's however....once your off axis the screen distorts + generally LCD pictures are not as bright as plasma's (contrast ratio). I have a Samsung 50" plasma and love it.

I have a 55" Hitachi Plasma that is awsome (I bought it 4 years ago when ones of that size were still $4,000).

I recently bought a 42" LCD TV for my home office. I went with a Dynex from Best Buy (supposedly made for them by LG). It is an amazing LCD for the price ($600) and I've never found a negative review of the Dynex brand LCDs.
