Man hackers will prey on anything to get people to infect their computers with viruses and keyloggers. Too bad people are too dumb to double check link addresses and/or not open files from random people. Computer viruses, more often than not, are spread by stupidity, not system vulnerability.

Seriously, though... it's "just another virus". It requires no different action than any other virus. If you go opening random email attachments, you're gonna get bit. Rule of thumb: if you didn't ASK for someone to send you an email attachment, VERIFY that they actually sent it and intended for you to look at it before you open it.

Awarness, either way is good information. You'd be surprised at how many people fall for scams like these on a daily basis. I should know, I'm a finacial crimes/robbery investigator that deals with this on a daily basis.

Well considering the past performance of the Obama fans (being a touch over the top) I thought it was a good thing to post.

Look at all of the people who are scammed ny the Nigerians every day! I am not saying that the Obama fans here are over the top (some have demonstrated that ability) but an ounce of prevention.........

It was the good Republican thing to do!
