its funny how people post things in a regional forum and those hitting "new posts" dont realize its a local post.. and reply to things that they werent meant to..

like i think peter was wondering if its raining elsewhere in HI

it was an implied question :
"Wow I don't know about you guys, but up here in northshore it's been pouring like a mad man!"

the idk about you guys .. implies he wonders about "you guys" being others in HI since its a regional post.. Posting in a region forum to talk about the local weather..

lol it doesnt really matter .. i notice it all the time people posting in regional forums and others replying that arent regional.. if he wanted to talk about global weather he would have posted in the off topic.

btw its raining here too lol.. i think it is everywhere

Yup, raining like hell down here in Pearl City. Work in a warehouse and the rain is freaking loud. Good thing I don't have to go outside like my coworkers.

Oh and I don't see what the problem is with people from other locations providing us with their own weather updates ;)

I just got home - drenched. I felt like everyone was looking at my nipples through my white shirt. Good thing I'm a guy. :D
It was my first time driving 40 mph on a 60 mph highway.

I checked up on the cars out front and the water level was going to my exhaust! I held my breath, crossed my fingers and drove it out of there. The water didn't go inside the car but close!

i moved all cars to safety, now it's time for me to try and go to class. I needed to drive my truck for this weather. What a beast of a truck!

Yeech today was nuts. I work at Costco (Iwilei) and I was most happy that I am temporarily assigned to a department that does NOT go outside and pull carts in the crazy-ass rain. We didn't have it as bad as some, but we definitely had pools of water all over the yard. A fuse blown that I gotta check out, and a whippet who would NOT take his happy ass outside to pee today. hahaha... what a princess. Worse than daddy. :)

Awesome discovery uncovered by the ridiculous rain: Both my taillights have leaks in them and have now accumulated water leading to condensation on the inside. Hopefully my insurance will fix/replace them for free since they just replaced them when I got rear ended 3 months ago...

I once read a post where someone complained about losing speed through a turn. I gave some stupid advice about downshifting the automatic just as I reach the corner of the street.

The next day, I realized that he had posted in the Racing forum and was talking about problems at the track. I quickly deleted my post.
