View Full Version : Lowest drop available with springs

Hey just curious and i know that this has probably been covered before th hack can't find the thread though. What springs will give me the lowest possible drop? correct me if i'm wrong but i thought it was the Tanabe's df210 i think.:iono:

thats what i believe too. check my garage for pics of it lowered on df210s :) they actually still ride very well.

Tein Basics have a 1.9" drop on both ends. You don't want to go any lower than that, unless you want to scrape and rape the bottom of your car. I do recommend installing some stiffer shocks with the springs. It drastically reduces bounce and rubbing. Not only will your ride look good, it will also ride better.

just go full coilovers, it will actually drop it lower then 2"

but if you want springs, the tein s.tech has the lowest drop after settling, atleast with my 205/45/16 tires, the teins had a 1 finger gap between the tires and fenders, the df210 has an almost 2 finger gap

Yeah , Tein has the lowest drop and also the highest front and rear spring rate of the spring I've seen for the yaris . I'm running df210's , and they work good for street driving , but if you plan on tracking your car at all go with the tein springs(higher spring rate) lower stance too.
