Ok so i love my little LB though my fiance doesn't think its a good / conveniant car for putting car seats in and getting kiddies in and out of. She says that in a few years my next car has to be bigger and have 4 doors (i have a personal aversion to buying vehicles with more than 2 or 3 doors) so its easy to take the anticipated kids in and out. So my question is does anyone do the kid / carseat thing with the LB or sedan and is it all that bad? Personally if i have to get a new car and my main concern is the ease of ingress and egress of kiddies I'm thinking Mazda Miata, just lower the top and drop em right in, easy as it gets.:w00t:

I have a 5 year old, she still has to sit in a booster seat according to Wa law.
I have a 2 door liftback. The seat on the passenger side slides way forward so it's not really that difficult getting her in.

the 3 door isn't that bad with a carseat/booster seat. as posted above, the passenger seat slides forward easily(one-handed design). also, the headroom is greater in the 3 door than in the 4 door. in fact, the 3 door is more 'roomy' overall on the inside than you might think by looking at it from outside! the 4 door is nice for back-seat access, but the rear doors aren't that big so most the time i have to stand outside and just make sure my 4-year-old doesn't fall backwards as she climbs into her booster seat. once she's settled-in i fasten the belt over her by just leaning over. i like the look of my 3 door so much i don't grumble when i take her with me.
