View Full Version : Removing third brake light

Hi,
I purchased a third brake light cover like this (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-2006-TOYOTA-YARIS-3RD-BRAKE-LIGHT-COVER_W0QQitemZ160014654045QQihZ006QQcategoryZ7221 2QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) and have unscrewed the screws but can’t seem to remove the brake light to apply the sticker. It just won’t budge. Is there a way to get it out without damaging anything?

Looking at the back of the lamp itself, at each of the corners, there is a small black circle.. remove it, its a cap.

Deep inside the hole will be a bolt to remove on each side..

Remove and finsihed. :biggrin:

Dude....why do you have to be that way...especially with someone new to the forum...that is grounds for them to jsut up and leave...not cool. Everyone has their own style and likes...as they say "don't hate the playa, hate the game".

I have removed the 2 caps and both the bolts but it is still stuck in place... I had another person look at it but they couldn't remove it either :help:

Thats all there was to my Liftback's 3rd Brake Light.

Its all in good fun dude... in all honesty I kind of liked the idea of modding that tail light, I just wasn't feeling that Yaris logo. It was just a cheer haha.
