i bought the ps3 because i knew that bluray would be the winner in the format war. and the games use bluray so they have the ability to hold more data than the xbox games.. ps3 will be able to have more game content on the disks if they choose to .. and more room for other stuff too .

and bluray movies look great too :)

when i bought my ps3 they had a get 10 bluray free deal.. i got it twice plus a 5 free mail in so i got 25 free bluray movies for buying my ps3... ended up with about as much in bluray as i spent on the system..

and ps3 gameplay online isfree too.. i didnt like the idea of having to pay to play online

I have to say the PS3 party system just sucks ball sacks. For example, MGO and Socom Confrontations have their own party system. It's hard to explain but its not easy to party with friends IMO. It's free to play but I also think its slow as fuck. I get into games faster in xbox 360, I download demos faster on the xbox 360. Little Big Planet on ps3 is broken and the game spazzes out when trying to connect with other people. I can't see how you can compare blu ray ps3 vs xbox 360. Xbox 360 never supported hd dvd (built in) support, I don't think that would be a reason people buy a 360. 360 to me is a FPS console and PS3 is a fighting game console. ^^

I, owning both consoles and working in the video game industry, agree with kuya.
while the ps3 may have more features available such as free PSN, built in wireless, and blue ray player, that doesn't mean better gameplay.

I'll admit, the Xbox360 has better multi-player support. But the tech involved with a PS3 is so much more advanced.

Not to forget, Gran Turismo 5 will never come out for anything but the PS3!

Whats the difference? You get a directional pad, you get two joysticks, and a bunch of buttons. IMO, they're all hard to use. AMIRITE?!

Keyboard+mouse will always be the ultimate FPS setup. Counter-Strike!!!!

I was talking about it on PC... I play cod4 on pC..... I have played it on PS3 and nothing beats a keyboard to play cod4
