I have been searching for a remote start and keyless entry system. I came across an alarm/remote start system that utilizes a cellphone. It looks cool. It will call your cell if someone is breaking in to it. Or you can lock, unlock, or start your car from anywhere. Anyone have any input on these units?

How much is the monthly fee for the GSM modem? There are some long range (>1000 ft) two-way ones that are non cell based.

Thats one of the questions I have been trying to find out. I found a few places online that sell them but it doesn't say anything about a fee. I sent out a few emails so when I get a response, I'll post it.

So does the cell carrier charge extra for this? Where do you get the sim card?
