I was just wondering if anyone here has a reverse camera mounted somewhere else on the car besides the license plate cameras. Please post pics!! I have no idea where the camera can be mounted, and at the same time I would like it to be hidden. HELP ME!@ :iono:

No, but depending on the camera , most camera's are wide angle lense's,
and being tucked up under the number plate lip protects them from being knock around. But still gives great reversing shot. Talk to eTiMaGo he has a reverseing camera.

How about to the bottom of the third brake light (so it looks like it is part of the assembly)?

I mounted mine just under the handle for the hatch and ran the wires through the rubber wire loom and into the rear side panel. Will try to get a picture. 17 degrees outside and about 8 inchs of snow with freezing rain. Yuk....

Mine's on the top of the license plate frame and yeah, it's pretty useless, very hard to judge distances with it. If I had the time and technical inclination, I would hang it from user my spoiler

that would be a perfect place for it if it wasn't for the glare from the light. we have these cameras mounted on our delivery trucks right beside the position/brake lights and at night almost total whiteout. the joys of "night vision" cameras without luminosity protection.
how bout getting a VG Sharkfin Antenna and incorporating the camera into it. Hidden stealthy and practical (you could point it at an angle as to see the most area behind the car).
Good point.
The other place I was thinking is "in" the spoiler. The USDM lip spoiler is hollow and plastic, so it would be pretty easy to mount a camera inside of it. For the ultimate in stealth, a pinhole lens camera would only require a 1/32" inch hole for the camera to look through.

any other takers? because the license plate area where the camera would be tucked is too low. The spoiiler would be a good location, but people could easily snatch it off your car if they wanted to. Lastly by the third brake light would be okay, but since i have tint it would be kind of hard to see out of the car. :(
