I have 18" trd wheels that I used for my Xb and wondering which yaris color would it look best with. What do you guys think?

I did a simple photoshop on the TRD yaris removing the stickers to get rid of the ricey look. Is this car just the regular blazing blue?

I love the blue too. Look even better in person. Those 18's make it look even better though.

I think blue is by far the best color for Yari, that's why my car is exactly the same as the top pic......minus the rims lol Where do you get the 18 in TRD??

I love the blue, but you can get the TRD knockoffs for half the price. There are all kinds of rims out there that look similar to those and are a heck of alot cheaper. They look good, but I wouldnt pay that for them.

Yeah, the TRD's are pricey as hell. They look great on that Yaris at the top of this thread though.

That car is kind of my inspiration to get the yaris actually since I have the wheels already. I got them since I bought my Xb from the dealership as an upgrade although the box had the 15 alloy wheels installed already. I decided to keep using the 15's and now the 18's are just in the storage.

I was glad when the yaris came out since this is exactly the car that I can use it for. I was more thankful that the competitions (honda fit & nissan versa) do not look as good  as the yaris since it will be stupid to use the TRD wheels on them.

I read that the TRD yaris have the Sportivo springs which I hope do not have any issues with the wheel-fender gap specially when I have 2 kids occasionally riding at the back.

Thanks for the info echo, I didn't even know that myself. Sorry jommani, I don't have info on the weight and don't have means to weigh it myself. Tried to check online and couldn't find it.

or did he mean the weight of the kids?

http://www.wheelweights.net/ has Racing Hart Evolution in a 18x7.5 listed at 20.8 LBS :)

Oh they're kinda heavy... I mean the kids. I saw that figure actually but wasn't really sure if that's the one. It's not too bad I guess if it is.

i know these are approved by toyota and offered as well but i just wanted to confirm that there are no scrapping on the wheel well. it just seem big, specially for my s sedan. also what is the dimension/measurements of the tire when purchased from toyota? example 225/40r18

18's with 40s are nice but might be harder ride than 45s but will 45s fit?

so i was thinking if not, then prolly go with 17s with 45 or 50s(if not 50s on 17s then on 16s)

probably going to get grey on flint mica

p.s. what's the max wheel width for no scrapping on s sedan?

Mine came with 215/35/18. Like I said, used on the xB but sure will fit the yaris also. Btw, wife and I decided to go on a totally different route and bought a Sienna instead. Thinking to keep the wheels for a posssible yaris purchase in the future but that will still take a long time for sure.

For anyone interested, I'm putting the wheels for sale. They are really nice and the rims have very minor blemishes on them, never curved. They were used for just a few months and the tires (Pirelli Zero Nero) have 80% to 90% tread on them. Sorry, I have the photos on our digital camera but the daughter lost the cable  to download them on my laptop.

Considering around $1290 (negotiable) including shipping in the US.

YarisPR, yours is the first sedan that I've seen with the TRD wheels. The pic doesn't really show it well but your car should look nice for sure. Again, for those interested, the price is negotiable and might sell for a lot cheaper.

For those who're looking for cheaper alternative, the Motegi RT5 is the replica version of the TRD rim. I might get it in 17" if I can find it.
