Hey again , Finally had some free time today to install my Cf engine cover . I bought this from Garm like 2 weeks after I bought my car a just got around to installing it today , only took like 5 minutes from strat to finish and I only needed a drill/bit and a sharpy marker . The laying and finish of the carbon fiber is terrible Imo but it looks a shit load better than stock . Also seen in the picture is my modded stock airbox w/ K&n drop-in filter , Enjoy !

nice, but why didn't you go with a cai or short ram?

Probably because this way is a lot cheaper:laugh:
Also just a note your brake fluid looks like it is rather low.

Looks a little wavy, but I'd rather take a wavy CF one over the stock one.

I couldn't decide between aem or injen , so I just played it safe and went with the drop-in filter/modded airbox . Also I think i'm the only yaris running this same set-up, How many hundred's of people do you think are running aem/injen????? I'm just tring to be differnt using my own ideas . I also plan on buying the drop-in c-one filter and running it in this same configuration.

I bought this from Garm (Microimage) a supporting vendor on here , but i guess it was the last one he had in stock . I'd hit him up to see if he can get you one , if not he has some really nice aluminum one that were cnc'd cut for sale .

The ghettofilter looks pretty cool actually! Maybe you could cut out some black mesh to put over the top? speaker grille-type mesh would look great!

No its the same thing as having a cold air intake with a cone filter on it . The way I have it is better cause with cold air intake its way down low in the fender so it could suck up water if driven through a big puddle(unless using aem water bypass )
