There are two kinds of people in this world, nice ones and douchebags. Appparently my landlord is a douchebag.

Ok i'm totally pissed off. I just went to my mailbox and opened my mail. There was a letter from my real estate agent, we rent and we are due for a rental inspection.

But I open the letter and it's a "Notice to vacate". 3 Days before christmas they send me a notice to vacate. Are they for fucking real. i'm :mad::mad::mad: about this.

So while your all enjoying your turkey and cranberry sauce, spare a moment of thought for me and my wife who now have to find a new place to live. I hate moving. There was no reason as to why we have to vacate on the letter.

We are good tenants, always pay in advance and never had anything damaged on the property. Did i mention that i'm mad as hell about this? Before you all come in and say "it's his house and he can do what he wants with it" i am aware of that fact, i'm more pissed off about the timing and the fact I have to pack all my crap belongings again.

To top it off we cant really look for another place as we are going to be on holiday in USA for most of Jan 09! I hate packing, I hate moving even more.

To my landlord I hope you have a merry christmas and a happy new year, one safe from harm, like a punch in the face.......(don't worry i'm just venting on here so i dont explode, i wont hit anyone)

I have no idea or knowledge of the Renter Protection Laws where you are..... and the timing is poor.

No reason? Why not ask for 60-90 days to secure a new place to live? Giving a person just days and not weeks is not pratical.

Oh no, it's 3 days till christmas (we are a day ahead of you). Not 3 days till we have to move. We have 120 days notice, i'm more mad about the timing, they could have sent the letter in the new year and i hate packing my stuff up.

Not sure how the laws are there in OZ but that would not fly here in the states, well he can not evict with out due reason.... I would ask a Lawyer

my wife and I decided to go xmas shopping today .. you wanna talk about douchebags.. lol there is nothing more douchebaggery than a mother on an xmas shopping tirade.

there was a JC PENNY that we were at to buy a gift card. there was register open and another starting to open .. we were next inline in the one that was already open so we moved to the one that was just opening. Keep in mind we just needed a gift card (one item) this lady behind us starts yelling and swearing that she was there before us and that saying this is rediculous swearing and stuff (with her little kids right there) we were at the register for a total of about 1min. I was glad to get out of the mall.. I will admit i laughed a little when she threw a fit.. and was kind of hoping she would get in our face about it so i could point out her douchebaggery lol and disregard for the little ears .. but oh well..
