Help with AVN5505D

Hi,

This is my first post as I have recently purchased a Yaris. It is an import from Japan and the stereo that came with it is an Eclipse AVN5505D.

My difficulty is that all the text is in Japanese. So does anyone know (if it can be done) how to make the text in english. Also the stereo has a TV function and I suspect that it is an NTSC and where I live its PAL(Malta), so that I can only get garbage.

Has anyone had any experience with this unit, any info will be much appreciated.

i have this hu ... but the US version, not sure if there is much of a difference, i'll try and play with my hu tomorrow and i'll let you know if it can be changed or not ... i would think you goto into settings

If you have the setup DVD I will gladly pay for a copy of it, maybe with the american setup dvd at least I would be able to boot it in english mode..will appreciate any help 10x
