Since moving to Calgary area end of October I have seen more Yaris here than in Toronto region. Yet there seems to be very little posts here from Alberta owners. Are we really that few ? Has there ever been a Yaris meet in Calgary ?

I really enjoyed meeting up with the GTA folks..the few times I could.
So what say you fellow western owner's...up for a meet when the weather is better ?

You'd best print up some Yaris flyers/cards and start leaving them under the wipers of your new neighbours to make them aware.

there aren't many Alberta owners here.

I think the Ottawa members out numbers Alberta's.

Sadly right no she's a dirty mess and the weather to crappy to get a nice shot. But as soon as the opportunity arises I got a brand new Cannon to try out.

hey man! that's me and i'm still around. i was thinking about getting that SC too, but now that there's that new HS250h coming we might get that instead (depending on price - and yes i'm aware it'll be more than a supercharger no matter what!)

When I was out in Alberta I didn't notice too many sub-compacts... I think 80% of the population there drives a truck or an SUV.

I have to agree, I have seen some ridiculously sized trucks here. Hell I was at a bar in down town Calgary and i swore a monster truck rolled by...you know its big when you can hear the hum of the tires before you see the damn thing !

We only need one on the rear.

Ya only one needed. I just been to damn lazy to go and get the "out of province rip me of for no good reason inspection" Alberta requires to get my Alberta plates.
Also having the Ontario plates seems to allow me to get away with the tint on the front windows, which is illegal in Alberta but legal in Ontario so I kinda holdin out as long as I can.
