I love the white '09 LB, it was my first choice.

Black, which was my original choice. The Meteorite I ended up with was actually my 3rd choice behind Blazing blue. Bayou blue was my 4th choice.

Apparently there isn't much choice when it comes to 3 door 5MT S's. :redface:

I searched and waited for the Bayou Blue and I still love it. I like that new Carmine Red too for 2009. It wasn't available for 2008. It would be more difficult to pick now.

The same silver lining... love this color... When I was buying it, the dealer said its going to take more than a couple of months to get it and instead we can give you a shadow (bayou blue). I waited and love it.... METEORITE METTALLIC FTW!!!

I adore my Pacific Blue Metallic and do not regret chosing it but with Yaris paint being so very fragile and my situation (commuter, young family, no garage) a lighter colour that wouldn't show the resultant scratch from even the slightest touch would be less frustrating. White would be the most practical, no dought.

I would have gotten the originalcar they ordered for me flint mica, but I gave it up cause they wanted to lower my trade that they had agreed upon when I ordered it and I ended up paying much more for the Yaris I went and bought hours after they had sold the one I waited months for,=(. Great question!

I still love my Black Sand Pearl and the way it glitters in the sun; but keeping it clean and shiny is a pain--especially down here in southcentral Texas!

The only other color I would consider would be Blazing Blue, only because that is the color of Gus' car in Psych; but my last car was blue and I needed a change. Plus, the black is very "covert night ops" looking, stealthy and all that!

we saw two 2 door Liftbacks in CARMINE RED yesterday on TOYO dealers lot with power package and automatic tranny , the other was 5 speed manual . Gotta say that color does justice for the 2 door L.B. , very sporty looking :thumbsup: . Like the interior better for the '09s as well . Fabric for seats and the shifting lever for the manual is better . Not the rubber , which attracts and traps dust like a magnet . Really got the itch to trade in the '08 BLAZING BLUE 5 speed manual in for the 2 door '09 CARMINE RED automatic :drool: .

I have the Carmine Red '09 2-door LB, it is a great color!! I would maybe go for one of the blue shades like I wanted originally, but the Carmine Red is just so fantastic.

Red because those nasty hummers can't get out of their own way, so I wanted to be sure my car was SEEN so there's less of a chance of them plowing me off the road, and me having to kick their @$$.

I'm surprised they haven't made a yellow Yaris... I think it'd suit the car.

FYI... all of the '09 colors in the US can be seen here (http://www.toyota.com/yaris/exterior-360.html). Looks like the sedan has a baby-bluish option, and the 3-door has a yellow option.

Mine is silver streak mica. I wanted the flint mica, but it wasn't available anywhere near me. I would love to have that apple green that I've seen here on the forum, but I understand it's not available in the US. :frown:

My last car was silver also, and one thing I do like is the fact that it doesn't show dirt. Also, if I ever decide to add any other colors (pinstriping, etc., though I haven't seen a pinstriped Yaris yet that I like) the silver is a good neutral base.

White with no metallic, mica, or clearcoat, is by far the most durable color there is. It lasts forever. (The old lacquers did *eventually* oxidize. But starting with acrylic enamel and continuing with acrylic urethane, plain old gloss white truly is the color for the ages.)

It's also really easy to keep. Gloss white can be as filthy as can be... and no one would ever notice until the mud layer is thick enough to become opaque.

The paint on this car is original, 22 years old, has been through 350,000 miles, has never seen the inside of a garage or the underside of a carport, and had just traveled 700 miles without a wash before this picture was taken:

i love my Meteorite, but i had such a hard time deciding between that and Polar White, both were the only 2 HBs at the dealer. Funny was i was deciding between those 2 colors prior to walking into the dealership. I still think white looks friggin awesome, and i would enjoy the Panda theme (my favorite animal) but meteorite can look so badass when done up. White looks good already in stock form though.

Honestly, there are probably 3 or 4 other factory colors I would have picked before red. I like the silver, black, and blue better, but I got a sweet deal so red it is.

One color I would never buy is white. It's a personal preference thing, but I HATE white cars.
