So this weekend I decided to get a little crazy and cover my headliner in suede. While I was at it I figured that if I have to take all the pillars out then why not cover them too. I know that you all will want pictures and will take some if I get off this week if the sun is still up if not it will be this weekend. The supplies I used were degreaser, paper towles, elmers spray adhesive, black plastic bond spray paint (satin), and black suede. The only thing I have a problem with now is what should I do with my sun visors because it would look funny to cover them the same way I did everything else and would look really funny to spray them black. Any ideas on that part?

the visor issue comes up for everyone that does that project, i've seen it before in the Scion crowd. I think the best treatment I've seen is when the visors are covered also, or painted -- but both have to be of VERY good quality to pull it off. Good luck with your project!

I also did this on my xA. I only did the headliner though. I really didnt mind not doing the pillars becuase i have a black and gray theme going on with the car. And I did the headliner black and just left the pillars gray.

I think the best thing to do with the visors is to prob get them covered in suede by a professional. I mean im sure they wont charge you much since its just the visors. And if you supply them with the material then, your only gonna pay for labor.

Hope that works out good for you. And yes, please post pics cause i wanna see how that turned out. :)

Get after market visors that are black already.......ebay has thousands that will work.
