Toyota Yaris is one of the sponsor's of the 2006 Evolution Fighting Game Championships. The "largest annual fighting game tournament in the Western Hemisphere".

Video Game competitions are kinda neat, but have gotten pretty played out over the last few years. My complaint is a lack of consistency when it comes to competition. That, and most competitive games don't have a very "fair" system. For instance, most frag fests are best won by staying in the shadows and picking off weak enemies..this isn't exactly the type of skill I would want to "hone"...

I find it interesting that Toyota's promoting the Yaris at places like EVO & Comic-Con. Next thing you know they'll be sponsoring Trekkie conventions!

Seriously, it'd be nice to see them continue the exposure with other events like skateboarding/snowboarding tournaments or something.
