Does anyone know if Toyota has a different steering wheel other than the 3 spoke design? I find it uncomfortable for daily driving purposes. I wouldn't have a problem getting one from Canada, I know they have some better accessories for our cars than available here in the US.

As garm said before respectfully requesting that you change your hand position I drive like you and have adjusted. Toyota does not make them. You need to go aftermarket and you'll lose the air bag.
Sorry I don't know the answer to your quesetion, but I found that lean back your seat a bit increase some leg room between your leg and steering wheel which in return give you more comfort.

My car will never see a track. It is used to drive 115-120 miles a day back and forth to work. To suggest I need to change my grip on the wheel to a "more appropriate position" is preposterous. To put a Yaris on a track one needs to have their head examined, my opinion. I have driven several sports cars on several race tracks before, and I agree that this would not be appropriate for that location. M3s, corvettes, and a couple mitsubishi evolutions. But for daily driving, I want to be as comfortable as possible.
This was the response I was looking for initially. They don't make a wheel? Fine by me, time to adapt the way I drive the car. Plain and simple. :)
(with a car with 500 miles on it, I'm not changing to anything aftermarket. Had Toyota made one though, I would have switched them out myself.)

The nice thing about something like a steering wheel is you can always go back to stock.
If I were you and I was dead set on a more comfortable steering wheel, I'd go find one!
