IDK but I might be able to get them from my local dealer. And I searched some more seems there were only 200 brought into the US. And We are the only other country to get it, I believe, obviously other than Japan.

NICE!
Heres some info I found... from Wiki, haha.
ABOUT
The Yaris ONYX, also known as the Toyota Yaris ONYX or simply the ONYX, is a limited run liftback. As of December 2008, there were plans to make only 200 such vehicles.
The ONYX, which is essentially a Yaris with exclusive Toyota accessories, is available only in black, and only as a 3-door liftback. Its availability will be limited to the Southeastern United States (specifically states North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida) and is available only through Toyota dealers.
The name “ONYX” refers to its dark color. ONYX stone is typically of a dark, black hue.
SIGHTINGS
On-location photos of the Yaris ONYX were taken in Southern Georgia, and the photos accompanying this entry are believed to be the only ones wherein the exterior of the ONYX isn’t hidden. Additional sightings were reported outside the port near Jacksonville, FL.
FEATURES
In addition to the black finish, the Yaris ONYX features a variety of ONYX-only features. These include:
- Bongiovi radio with iPod interface
- Enkei 17” wheels in dark chrome
- Carbon fiber dash-trim
- Window tint
- Stainless steel exhaust tip
- Euro rear spoiler
- Window tint
- Custom badging
- Bluetooth capacity
- Limited edition numbered key chain
the dark side is still too cute

I wonder how much it will cost? I might try to find one... Just depends on how much it is. But do you think insurance would be higher on a special edition economy car?

the CF is just a stick on overlay
Lit door sills can be found on ebay or Garm
Shift knob is pretty generic
and anyone can replace a radio and wheels
and slap a strip on the fender...
nothing really special about it... if is turbo that would be cool.... but I doubt it

And yet no foglights? What's up with Toyota not giving foglights on higher end trim models (Yaris)?

Those are the 5 door sedan version, I have a 3dr HB; It would be small...
but im curious as to price of it over a regular yaris...
It is $2794 in the toyota configurator. Quite a ripoff IMHO.
High end stereo with "virtual subwoofer" & ipod interface, window tint, euro rear spoiler, custom onyx badging, and ... numbered keychain.

They said it was specifically for the Southeast- NC, SC, GA, FL, TN. But I would call 'em anyway.

yeah, i looked at it online.. the dealership here has one in stock for a little over $17k. it looks pretty neat, but like black_yaris said, it's all stuff that can be done on your own. =P

well the link is 404 but i found some pics here (http://www.rickhendricktoyota.com/blog/2009/01/new-yaris-onyx-special-edition.html) and I say "meh." the wheel gap is huge... maybe looks better in real life but the badges and the red strips look tacky...

Not sure what's wrong with bumping an old thread for a new relevant post on said topic. Anyway, apparently the car (as I said, an Onyx Yaris hatchback) must have been sold this afternoon since I posted this... because it is not listed on the site anymore (the link worked earlier today, and as it says now, the car is no longer available).

The link was working yesterday evening, it had pics of an Onyx in a CarMax showroom. Just the typical Onyx, with an auto going for $12K or something like that. I am not overly impressed with that "special edition" Yaris, I would rather build one up on my own and without those gawdy red stripes...
